Dr. Dixie Melillo Middle School is a 5th and 6th grade campus that serves the students from the following elementary schools: All of Frazier Elementary school and a portion of Moore, Southbelt, and Stuchbery Elementary schools. Melillo MS, home of the Mustangs, first opened its doors in August of 2008.

Melillo MS is proud of our academic achievements in regards to state accountability. We hope to continue to improve each year. To view Melillo's State and Federal report cards for previous academic school years, please view the link under Quick Links on the right side of this page.

Our school office hours are from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Students have classes from 8:40am - 4:00pm.

Student Sports Physicals 
PISD requires physical exams for all intermediate and high school students participating in Athletics/Fine Arts/ROTC for the 2020-2021 school year. A student’s physical MUST be on file before the student will be allowed to participate in an athletics class or try out for any sport. As a convenience, the District allows Dr. John Kirkwood, and his team of doctors, to utilize PISD facilities to provide physicals at an inexpensive rate.  Click Here to see locations and times offered over the summer.

To receive a physical by Dr. Kirkwood the following MUST be completed:
• The Medical History portion of the physical form (Click Here for the form)
• $20.00 CASH ONLY to pay on the day of the physical

This year, Pasadena ISD is requiring that all parents complete the online registration process for their students.  
Please use the following attachments to complete the Online Registration process. These instructions can also be found on the Pasadena ISD website under the Enrollment section.  Thank you for completing the online registration process as soon as possible. 12.  Pay for the Computer Insurance Fee by clicking HERE.  Please have print a copy of the receipt and return it along with the contract.  We will be collecting CASH or MONEY ORDER payments from Aug 28-30 in the morning from 8-8:30 in the cafeteria.  Starting Sept 3rd, payments should be made in the front office.  A letter was sent home on August 27th.  Click here to see the letter.  If you need another contract, you can download it by click HERE.

To better serve our families, we are asking for parents to share their opinions in a parent engagement survey.
