SCHOOL OPENING UPDATES for 2020-2021

Have you completed the following for your student for the start of the 2020-2021 school year?

If you have not completed online registration, please do so as soon as possible. We are in the process of planning for the start of the school year regarding staff assignments & training for each learning program.

Dr. Dixie Melillo Middle School is a 5th and 6th grade campus that serves the students from the following elementary schools: All of Frazier Elementary school and a portion of Moore, Southbelt, and Stuchbery Elementary schools. Melillo MS, home of the Mustangs, first opened its doors in August of 2008.

Melillo MS is proud of our academic achievements in regards to state accountability. We hope to continue to improve each year. To view Melillo's State and Federal report cards for previous academic school years, please view the link under Quick Links on the right side of this page.

Our school office hours are from 8:00am - 4:30pm. Students have classes from 8:40am - 4:00pm.

Are you preparing for the 2020-2021 school year?  Here are some helpful documents:

2.  2020-2021 School Supply List - Updated 05/13/2020 (English & Spanish)
** All students regardless of grade level or program will have the same list. **
At some point, there is a possibility that all students will be returning to campus for face-to-face instruction. Eventually, students should have all school supplies purchased. The minimal supplies required for virtual learning at this time are: Pencils, a Pencil Sharpener, Composition Books, Notebook paper, Map Colors, and Highlighters.

This applies to Face-To-Face Learning only.  Students who are learning virtually do not follow an A/B day schedule.
